Pomijając jednak różne teorie (jedna z nich mówi na przykład, że utwór ten przywędrował do USA nie z Wielkiej Brytanii, a z Francji), możemy z całą pewnością uznać ten utwór, za utwór tradycyjny, a jego autora za w obecnie znanej nam wersji, datowany jest na początek XX wieku. Przytoczone przeze mnie informacje, to tylko mały urywek historii tej piosenki. Zanim za utwór zabrał się zespół The Animals' był on już grany tysiące razy przez wielu muzyków na całym świecie. Cieszę się, że mogłem dołączyć się do tej historii przygotowując kolejny odcinek z serii „Jak zagrać na harmonijce ustnej”. Przy okazji popełniłem też własną interpretację, którą znajdziesz w wyżej wspomnianym testuję nowy, bardziej wymagający sposób kręcenia odcinków, na przygotowanie tego materiału poświęciłem kilkadziesiąt godzin.
